Mountain Wicks candle Co is a small business offering natural soy candles, wax melts, and room sprays. The company is located in the beautiful Willamette Valley, surrounded by the Cascade and Coastal Mountain Ranges.
Mountain Wicks Candle Co is dedicated to providing pure and clean burning candles that are free from paraffin and phthalates. The soy wax used in their products is sourced from the 100% soy grown by American Midwest farmers.
Every product made by Mountain Wicks candle Co is safe to use and not only smells amazing but gives a great decor element.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
The main objective was to craft a unique and compelling brand identity that exudes a distinctly masculine yet slightly rustic aesthetic.
BRAND KEYWORDS/ PILLARS
The brand's foundation rests on four key pillars: Masculine - Natural - Earthy - Rustic.
LOGO DESIGN INSPIRATION
To capture the essence of the brand's rugged and adventurous persona, we chose bold and masculine typography with rustic undertones. The rough and textured edges add a touch of approachability, fun, and friendliness to the brand's identity.
Each element of the logo was carefully selected to represent the brand. The arched text at the top of the logo evokes a sense of mountains as it represents the brand's location amidst the peaks. The compass and trees symbolize the brand's persona as an adventurous hiker, emphasizing the love for exploration and nature. The bottom arched banner was inspired by direction signs commonly found on hiking trails, which perfectly encapsulates the brand's adventurous spirit.
With its combination of bold typography, rustic texture, and carefully selected elements, this logo effectively communicates the brand's adventurous and rugged persona in a visually appealing and memorable way.
